Anne brings over two decades of investment management experience to Uplift Investing, as well as a liberal arts perspective. She led the index and socially responsible investing equity team at TIAA for over 10 years and oversaw a period of significant growth in each of these areas. Her professional background also includes index fund management at Mellon Capital, and fixed income portfolio management at both Bankers Trust in New York and Wells Capital Management in San Francisco. Subsequent to her institutional experience, Anne served as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, with a focus on helping women with financial planning and literacy, as well as initiating the dialogue about sustainable investing.
Anne grew up on Long Island, and attended Middlebury College where she earned a double major in Economics and French and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Anne then earned her MBA from Georgetown University, and is a CFA® charterholder. Anne lives with her very tall husband Dan and two college-age sons in Mill Valley and enjoys swimming and hiking whenever possible.
